USMLM LISTS:

The USMLM Association currently maintains its own private listserver (E-mail group). Our membership currently includes USMLM members from all generations, BRIXMIS, FMLM (MMFL), family, and friends/colleagues. Anyone may join the USMLM e-mail discussion lists. Requests to join are reviewed to ensure the interests of the membership at large is protected.

Below is a description of the USMLM e-mail discussion groups and instructions on joining.

USMLM Private Email Discussion Lists (Groups)
List Name	Description	How to Subscribe
USMLM	The main USMLM e-mail group with approximately 217 members, including BRIXMIS, FMLM (MMFL), USMLM, friends, family, and colleagues. 168 e-mails were transmitted to this group in 2000. Only subscribers can post to this group.	Anyone can join with approval from Association members. Send an e-mail to member@usmlm.org Include name, Allied Mission (or relationship to Missions), service dates (if applicable), e-mail address, and indicate if you wish your e-mail address to be shared with other members or kept private. Optionally, inlcude postal mailing address and/or phone for postal mailings/contact.
USMLM-EXEC	Restricted e-mailings concerning only significant notices. Approximately 15 subscribers. Postings to USMLM-EXEC are also relayed to the USMLM list (above). Only ten e-mails were sent to this group in 2000. Only subscribers can post to this group.	Anyone can join with approval from Association members. Send an e-mail to member@usmlm.org Include name, Allied Mission (or relationship to Missions), service dates (if applicable), e-mail address, and indicate if you wish your e-mail address to be shared with other members or kept private. Optionally, inlcude postal mailing address and/or phone for postal mailings/contact.
USMLMDCAREA	This list is for local events of interest to those living or visiting the Washington DC metro area. Only subscribers can post to this group.	Anyone can join with approval from Association members. Send an e-mail to syssec@usmlm.org and provide the above information if not already a member of USMLM.
AIR-TEAM	Members of this group are also members of the main list (USMLM). Members of this group elect to discuss matters pertaining only to the Air Team/Element. Only subscribers can post to this group.	Anyone can join with approval from Association members. Send an e-mail to syssec@usmlm.org and provide the above information if not already a member of USMLM.
REQUEST TO ADD NEW LISTS: Other exclusive lists may be created at the request of any member. Send your request to syssec@usmlm.org

Looking for the USMLM Egroups or Yahoo Groups lists? We are no longer supporting these previous groups. Effective 1 Feb 2001, the USMLM Association maintains its own private listserver (discussion groups). We do maintain archives of all messages previously posted in these groups. For more information write to syssec@usmlm.org.

The message discussion groups are to be used by members to exchange communications relating to the USMLM and Allied Missions, i.e. history, events, exchanges, looking-for, notices, reunions, etc. It is not to be used for unrelated general public service announcements, virus warnings, chain letters, spamming, jokes, etc. Please view our detailed list policy.
